About AcuityID
We are a small company made up of a team of highly skilled
technologists and engineers with a background in RFID and other
related disciplines.
After working in the industry and observing the tactics and strategies of
both small and large players in the field, we have seen a lack of
dedication to creating the hardware infrastructure required to bring
practical RFID to realization.
Because our skill set is uniquely suited to filling this gap within the
industry, we are dedicating ourselves to creating the hardware and
infrastructure components that we see absent.
We will be providing this infrastructure as complete hardware systems,
with software and communications interfaces that will allow easy
portability into existing data management applications.
Our efforts are initially focusing on the needs of the Life Sciences
industry, where there are many critical areas that need to be addressed.
These areas include hospital inventory management, pharmaceutical
supply chain protection, and blood supply pedigree applications.
We also have experience with retail and inventory control aspects of the
RFID industry, and can supply solutions in that market.
